The Kitchell Facility Management team has been providing full service HVAC, Electrical, mechanical, plumbing maintenance and operation services for the University of Arizona, Phoenix Bioscience Core in downtown Phoenix since 2012. The contract includes full maintenance services, a comprehensive preventative and corrective maintenance program, full coverage 24/7 on-call emergency response, equipment warranty tracking, and computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) implementation for the nine buildings totaling just under 1 million square feet that makes up the campus. The Arizona Biomedical Collaborative building houses sophisticated laboratory research facilities for both the University of Arizona and Arizona State University. The University partnered with St. Joseph Hospital and Dignity Health to open the Outpatient Cancer Center in 2015, in 2017 the University opened its new 10-story Bioscience Partnership Building.
